SUMMARY OF THE COMPETITION
Mister Sting wants to hear the music you love. And he’s willing to pay.
So send me a mixtape and two very exciting things will happen.

All entries win a mix that I’ve made. (So remember to include your postal address)
2. The best entry will win a FABULOUS PRIZE.

YOU WANT A ‘MIXTAPE’, MISTER STING, BUT I CAN’T MIX/DON’T HAVE A TAPE!
Don’t worry! The ‘mixtape‘ doesn’t have to be ‘mixed’ like a DJ set.
It doesn’t have to be a tape. Just a selection of music that you like. Any format is fine.
In fact, if you can’t be bothered with physical objects, just e-mail me a list of songs.

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE MIX THAT I GET JUST BY ENTERING…
It’s got sleeve notes, track listings, an intro and outro and a witty quote about music.
Most of the tracks are by artists that haven’t been played on the show. In short, it’s boss!

WHAT SHOULD I PUT ON MY MIX?
Anything. That is your choice, not mine. Any recorded sound (or silence). I don’t have a checklist, I just want to hear the music you love. Hopefully, you’ll introduce a new listener to a gem or two, just like I try to do with the show.

HOW LONG SHOULD MY MIX BE?
To keep things fair, I think you should limit it to what will fit on a CD, in other words about 80 minutes. Of course it can be shorter, but if it’s a lot longer I might ask you to think about submitting multiple entries.
